De Neve Plaza
Located just south of Covel Commons, De Neve Plaza features the 3,700-square foot Plaza Room which can be divided into two spacious salons. The adjacent 430-seat Lecture Auditorium is masterfully designed and features professional-quality acoustics, lighting, and video capabilities. Several other meeting rooms, including a fully-equipped computer lab, round out the versatile collection of spaces available in De Neve Plaza. De Neve Plaza is where we will be hosting all boardrooms and mass gatherings (opening/role call/ and closing) for the conference.
Carnesale Commons
Carnesale Commons is centrally located within convenient walking distance to core campus. Compliant with the UC Policy on Sustainable Practice, Carnesale Commons holds a USGBC LEED™ “Silver” rating. This venue features our largest meeting space, Palisades Room, which accommodates up to three additional rooms, Malibu, Venice, and Hermosa – 700 to 1,200 square feet each. These spaces will be used for dinner on Friday, hospitality rooms, banquet, programs, and the swap shop during PACURH RLC.
Tom Bradley International Hall
Located just steps away from De Neve Plaza is Tom Bradley International Hall. This building contains a ballroom that can be used for many of our conferences needs! With event space that can fit over 300 people, this is a perfect space for PACURH RLC 2018 to utilize! During the conference, this space will be used for ART programming sessions on Saturday.
Covel Commons
Covel Commons is a meeting and dining facility that offers several conference venues. Upon entering this state-of-the-art meeting space, you will be greeted by a dramatic three-story spiral staircase that leads up to our premiere conference venue – the 5,925-square foot Grand Horizon Ballroom. With its high vaulted ceilings, 40-foot projection screen, and wall of hugely paned windows, this space was designed for large theater-style presentations, banquets, and receptions. Floor-to-ceiling sliding partitions also allow this space to be divided into seven smaller salons.
Northwest Campus Auditorium
Northwest Campus Auditorium, also located in Sunset Village, seats up to 350 individuals and is an ideal choice for multimedia presentations, teleconferences, lectures, film screenings, or small theatrical performances. This space features a professional-grade projection, lighting and sound booth, an 850-square foot stage, two dressing rooms, and a lobby area that is perfect for our guests. This space is where hypnotist Brian Imbus will be performing Saturday night.
