The Hospitality & Entertainment staff for this conference is excited to bring to you all various forms of entertainment and relaxation sure to make your conference experience a memorable one!
Check out our offerings below:
Hospitality Room: Welcome to your main room for hospitality needs. This room will be the best space to go if you need a quick picture with another delegate, a snack, or for some relaxation. The main room will incorporate the nautical theme of the conference all the way down to the goodies you can grab. This room will also have a guide to direct you to all of the activities going on throughout the conference and include a painting area in collaboration with our philanthropy project, benefiting Create Now, an LA-based non-profit. Offered from 9 PM to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Zen Room: Feeling a bit worked up? Maybe a little exhausted from all of the high energy? Well the Zen Room has your back. This uniquely themed room will include a plethora of “borrowed” items donated for the weekend by faculty and residential life staff at UCLA. With soothing ocean sounds and music, you are sure to escape the noise. Yoga mats will be provided for your convenience, so grab a seat and enjoy a little escape. Offered from 9 PM to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Game Room: C’mon, we all know you love to play those classic board games, but we also know how much Mario Kart brings out the competitive side in you! The game room will be your go-to spot for an upbeat late-night game with your fellow delegates. Maybe you just want to grab a quick snack to bring on the road? Whatever it may be, we’ve got you covered. Offered from 9 PM to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Swap Shop: Don’t miss the chance to exchange swag items from your institution to swap with others from your froggie family! Join your fellow delegates for this fun NACURH & PACURH tradition. Offered from 9-10 PM on Friday and Saturday.
Movie: Thanks to Swank Motion Pictures, one of our wonderful sponsors for PACURH 2018 RLC, we are happy to announce that we will be showing Finding Dory on Friday evening. Don’t forget to stop by to relax and watch this a-Dory-able movie with us! Offered from 10 PM to midnight on Friday.
Hypnotist: Our Hospitality & Entertainment team is excited to announce that we will be hosting Brian Imbus as a form of entertainment on Saturday night! Brian is a UCLA tradition and performs at UCLA yearly. Brian Imbus is one of the most popular entertainers in the United States, performing over 200 shows annually at colleges, corporate events, and high schools. For your convenience, we have included a video for you to watch that was partially filmed at UCLA in 2016! Offered from 9 to 9:45 PM on Saturday.
Dance: On Saturday night, you will have the option of attending our “Under the Sea” themed dance. DJ Trevor will be playing some of your favorite hits and bring you back to the good old days. Break out your dancing shoes and hit the dance floor! Offered from 10 PM to midnight on Saturday.
